![]() The Cabin Zero bag fits in our trunks so much better than any hard case luggage has. It all takes up most of the space in our trunk. We often need to pack the car full of camera gear and who knows what other crap. We travel by car a lot whether for a few days within North Carolina or weeks at a time up north or just road tripping on the coast. We carry our CabinZero luggage and it’s a breeze. Rolling luggage is also annoying to roll through European cities with a ton of cobblestone. Rolling suitcases are such a pain to wheel around and through a place like NYC with a ton of other people. We just put them on our backs and rush through the stations (as any New Yorker does) including stairs, escalators, and narrow passages. It’s so simple for us to carry our Cabin Zero backpacks on and off any subway. (You can take it out if you like, but we keep ours in the bag.) We love that it’s so easy to take into big cities, from New York City to Lyon You hardly notice it when you wear it but it’s there for support, which is a bonus. Note there is an aluminum frame within the bag. You don’t really think about how much space the suitcase in itself takes up until you have a soft backpack, like the Cabin Zero ADV Pro, that fits into tighter spaces than your old luggage, including a packed car trunk and overhead compartment on smaller airplanes. (Note if it’s a feature only available on the ADV versus ADV Pro, we’ve indicated so.) There’s also an “ADV Dry” waterproof backpack. (The ADV Pro is Thermoform and the ADV is Airmesh.) There is a difference between the two airflow systems of the straps and part of the backpack that goes on your back, but since we never switch backpacks and only know our own we’d never know the difference.While both have a space for a laptop the ADV Pro space is padded.It truly doesn’t make a difference to us! It’s simply a design difference in our eyes. The ADV has a straight zip panel on the front while the ADV Pro has a U-shaped one.Mikkel still can’t figure out what to use the bungee cord system for inside a bag. The ADV Pro has a bungee cord system with a buckle inside and ADV has an angled pocket. Interior organization in the main compartment is slightly different.The zippers are really high quality though.)
